ALL ABOUT

Dan’s musical career began at the University of Chicago Blackfriars with hit original shows “‘Til The End Of The World” (1985) and “Rick Cosmos and the Green Things from Mars!” (1988). Time constraints from a day job in Litigation Support drove him to solo performance, first as small plastic instruments act “Special Guest” in the late 1990s, then more successfully as “Captain Ambivalent and the Accordion of Gold” with three albums, multiple one-man shows, and an uncredited cameo on America’s Got Talent. The pandemic provided a block of time to update “Rick Cosmos” and begin recording a demo.

The Long Hard KNight

In Development. A jazz musical with a social subtext goes hilariously off the rails when a demanding couple sympathizes with the intended villains and insists on sending in their son to help them out with some rock and rap. (Based on Beaumont & Fletcher’s “The Knight of the Burning Pestle.”)
